Upcoming Workshop
On the Verge of Hope
A workshop on writing towards hope with inspiration from Ada Limón.
October 22, 2024, from 6:30-8:15 at Gallery Wrightwood / St. Luke's
“Look, we are not unspectacular things," says poet Ada Limón. "We’ve come this far, survived this much. What would happen if we decided to survive more? To love harder?” This workshop will ask that question, with the goal of making the process of answering it accessible to anyone at any level of comfort with poetry.

In a single session, you can expect to:
-
Get an introduction to Ada Limón, U.S. Poet Laureate
-
Read and discuss the poem "The Conditional"
-
View and discuss artwork in the "On the Verge of Hope" exhibition
-
