Do you write poetry and enjoy collaborating with others?
We're putting together a combination literary art magazine and exhibition for 2026. We invite you to submit poetry inspired by the craft, form, or topic of our guiding poet, especially if you live in Chicago.

Acceptance into this literary art magazine involves collaborating with an artist to create an exhibition that brings your poem to life off of the page. Please view our previous issue, Issue 1.5, to see our literary art magazine and exhibition photos. Submission guidelines are available at the top of the form linked here.

Do you make art and enjoy bringing stories to life?
We’re putting together a combination exhibition and literary art magazine. We invite all Chicago-based artists to submit applications to join our project in 2026.

Acceptance into this project involves collaborating with poets to create an exhibition that brings poetry to life off the page. Please see Issue 1.5 for examples of past collaboration artworks in Off the Page. More examples of our inspiration for this issue are also available on this Pinterest board.
